It was the early 1990’s and I had just developed a Genetic Algorithm model that solved a difficult combinatorial problem. The client was thrilled. Not only was the approach elegant, the results were just as impressive. But back at the ranch, this accomplishment was met with little regard. It did not fit the mold. This is when it dawned on me that to truly to justice to client needs, a separate entity will have to emerge. That entity will promote innovation and freedom of thought to uncover actionable insights. That’s how Business Analysis at Your Service, Bayser, came into being.
